We have collected comments and opinions of our customers and interior designers and formulated some of our own and can confidently state that:

Our Graphite colour palette takes on the hue of colours on your walls and furniture and everything else you have in the room - something which a beige will not do.  This means that you can decide to paint a wall warm purple or cool blue, if you want, and not be concerned about the effect on the carpet.  The sheep's fleeces are made up of many natural shades of warm and cool greys which take on the reflected hue of your decor and complement it. Magic!

Wishing a Merry Christmas and a Happy 'Swalewick' New Year to all our customers!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers for keeping us very busy this year with orders and enquiries.  We have had considerable interest in all our products and thoroughly enjoyed helping to cover floors all over the country with Herdwick and Swaledale wool.  We are pleased to note that our contribution to the respective Sheep Breeders' Associations will be well up on last year.

In turn, we have appreciated the many cards and kind comments that have come through thanking us for our personal service and for providing carpets that are clearly loved!

Next year, we shall continue to encourage more enthusiasts for natural wool carpets that buying direct from us is a safe and sure way to get good value for money.

Carpet samples for Grand Designs visitors

We have done our best to ensure that samples requested have been sent out.  It is, however, inevitable that there are one or two mismatches of information and so we have not been able to complete them all.

Therefore, if you feel that you have not got your samples or the correct ones, please accept our apologies and make contact. We shall try to do better!

We are in the process of following up enquiries and do understand that some projects are medium or long term.  We do want to be in a position to supply the ones that are more short term and are trying to maintain stocks according to best information available so that we can react when needed.

Follow up to Grand Designs Live

Firstly, John, Sally and Ian would like to thank all the many visitors to our stand over Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  We received many complimentary comments about the value of using natural wool in the way we do and the importance of helping our upland farmers. 

We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly talking to everyone and are happy to report that we were inundated with enquiries for all our products, from single rooms right through to whole house projects.  It doesn't matter whether the requirement is for delivery in 10 days or 2 years - we are most keen to use our direct approach to work with all our clients and their various needs.

We shall acknowledge all our visitors personally and attend to all urgent orders and sample requests appropriately as soon as ever we can.
